FEC has partnered with the Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps (SRCC) to offer a FREE
E-waste collection & recycling event for the Arden Arcade area. SRCC is a state approved collector of e-waste & takes all was to a CLEAR facility. CLEAR is a state approved recycler and completely shreds all hard drives at its securely monitored facility.

§ DVD Players with 4’ Screen or Larger

Items Not Accepted
§ All Non-Electronic Waste: Items that do not have BOTH a circuit board and a power cord
§ Techno-Trash including: CD’s/DVD’s, VHS, Beta, Cassettes, DAT Tapes, Memory Sticks, & Floppy Discs
§ All Batteries: All batteries must be removed from consumer electronic devices. (CEAR will manage and recycle the batteries with a fee. SRCC will deduct battery recycling fee from funds earned)
§ All Lamps and Fluorescent Light Bulbs, incandescent Light Bulbs, and Christmas Tree Lights (CEAR will manage and recycle the batteries with a fee. SRCC will deduct battery recycling fee from funds earned)
§ Hazardous Household Waste: Paint, Pesticides, Used Oil, Cleaning Supplies, Propane Tanks, Fire Extinguishers, or Tires.
§ Contaminated Electronic Waste such as medical equipment that has not been de-contaminated
§ Large Household Appliances: Refrigerators, Washer and Dryers, Stoves, Ovens, Water Heaters, Air Conditioners, etc.
§ Household Items: Furniture, Cordless Power Tools, Toys, Smoke Detectors
§ All Mercury Containing Devices: Electric Irons, Thermostats, and Switches
§ All Wood, including wood-encased Stereo Speakers
§ Pressurized Containers: Fire Extinguishers and Propane Canisters
§ Solar Panels
§ Radioactive Devices
§ Furniture
§ Vacuum Cleaner
