It is the mission of the Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Parks District to enhance the quality of life for our community by providing park facilities and recreation programs of exceptional quality while maintaining and protecting our park lands for future generations. As part of this mission, the parks district has made a commitment to bringing quality theater to the community. To that end, the parks district has invested over $100K in new acoustics and flooring as well as state of the art theatrical sound and lighting. Over $30K of the funding came from donations. Family Cabins was the first full production at the theater. Since that time five additional plays have graced the stage.
Stay tuned for 2024 show dates!
Howe Avenue Theater is located at Howe Park at 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento, on the corner of Cottage Way and Howe Avenue. There is plenty of free parking. Come spend an evening at the theater.
